1. Maldives
The Maldives is an archipelago of 1,190 coral islands grouped into 26 coral atolls (not single islands, but giant ringlike coral formations hundreds of kilometers wide that have fragmented into countless islands), in the Indian Ocean. It’s well known from its breath-taking water wonders. Maldives are famous for their water bungalows and beautiful coral reefs. The water clarity is excellent and underwater life is abundant. Manta rays, sharks, even a few wrecks - you can find it all in the Maldives.


2. Dead Sea
Dead Sea is a salt lake situated partly in Jordan and partly in Israel. It is the deepest hypersaline lake in the world. Waters of this lake ar well known from its healing powers, and minerals and salts are used to create cosmetics. But the salinity of water has a bad impact on animals, that’s why it is called ‘dead’.


3. Iguazu National Park
Iguazu National Park is situated partly in Argentina. It is famous not only for its beautiful flora and fauna but also majestic Iguazu Falls (being compared to world’s largest and most famous falls in the world) and Iguazu River. The name of the park and the river is Guaraní y guasu, “large water”.


4. Halong Bay
Halong Bay, located in Vietnam, features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various sizes and shapes. This beautiful bay is at the UNESCO World Heritage Site . The bay is abundant with lakes and fish – its water hides 200 species of fish.


5. Amazon River
Amazon River is the largest river in the world (most measures), with a total river flow greater than the next eight largest rivers combined. Water of Amazon River gives life to thousands species of animals.


6. Jeju Island
Jeju is an island of the southern coast of South Korea. It is also called “Island of the Gods”, it’s ideal tourist destination and one of the top honeymoon destinations for Korean newlyweds. Jeju Island is mainly well known from majestic waterfalls. The most popular one is Cheonjiyeon – which name means „waterfall connecting land and sky”. Cheonjiyeon falls into large, artificial pond.


7. Mazurian Lake District
Mazurian Lake District is situated in northeastern Poland, contains more than 2,000 lakes. Thanks to its beaituful scenery the region not only gets a high number of tourists every year but it is also currently in the run for being listed into one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
